It is with undisguised joy that we share with you the extraordinary adventure that was the successful delivery of two state-of-the-art Combilift forklifts all the way to picturesque Chile! This unique journey not only delivered innovative machines, but also opened the door for us to discover fascinating facts about this remarkable and picturesque country, which is as much as twice the size of Poland and has the longest cycling route in the world (over 1,200 km).
Situated on a long strip of South American coastline, Chile is a place full of contrasts and incredible natural diversity. Did you know that there are as many as 2,000 volcanoes there, 500 of which are active? These are impressive figures that underline the power and dynamism of nature in this region. It is impossible to ignore the fact that the country is home to more than 3,000 islands in the Pacific Ocean, and among them is the mysterious and most isolated Easter Island, where monumental stone sculptures stand in silent testimony to a rich history and culture.
Our Chilean customers opted for the Combilift C3000 (3 ton forklifts) and Combilift C4000 (4 ton forklifts). Both forklifts have a high lifting height (6.0 and 8.4 m), LPG drive and are suitable for loading even in narrow aisles. During the delivery of the forklifts to Chile, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the climatic realities of everyday life. On average, people in Chile work as many as 45 hours a week, which is testament to the determination and commitment of the people in this beautiful country. However, there is also no shortage of unique challenges that Chileans have to face. In some regions of the country, it has not rained for 400 years, posing serious challenges to agriculture and access to water. However, it is also a testament to the strength and perseverance of the people who are able to survive in these difficult conditions.
